Finding peace in a Frantic World course

This online course is a wonderful introduction to Mindfulness or an excellent refresher for anyone who would like to reconnect with their practice.

The Finding Peace in a Frantic World course begins with an 

  • Orientation session on Thursday 8th October from 7 to 8 pm.
  • Session 1 is on October 22nd from 7 to 8.30 pm and takes place 
  • each Thursday at these times until 10th December.

The cost of the full course of 9 sessions is £95. 

These are financially challenging times for many. If, through loss of income or other reasons, cost is a deterrent from you applying to join the course please get in touch.


The book of the same name will form the basis of the course and is available in book form from a number of retailers including Amazon, WH Smith and Waterstones. 

It is also available on Kindle from Amazon.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, courses are currently being held online via Zoom.

The advantage of this is you don't need to worry about social distancing and can take part from the comfort of our own home. 

Connecting with others online can be a bit daunting to begin with if you're not used to it. Why not give it a try?

ONE TO ONE

Not everyone can manage a weekly course if family or work commitments get in the way.

One-to-one sessions are now available in a more flexible format, either face to face (depending on government guidelines) or via Zoom.

These hour and a half sessions follow the 8 week MBSR format and include an optional Retreat Day.

Retreat Day

RETREAT DAYS

An all day retreat forms part of the 8 week course and runs from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm. Currently these have been paused until social distancing measures allow.


Graduates of Mindful Stream MBSR or other 8 week Mindfulness programmes (MBP's) are welcome to join these days (subject to space) at various beautiful venues around the West Midlands and North Worcestershire.

WEEKLY STAYING MINDFUL GROUP

These sessions last one hour and a quarter from 7.15 to 8.30 each Wednesday. These are for those who have participated in an 8 week Mindfulness course either with Mindful Stream or elsewhere, and for those who would like to give it a go.
