We’re living in challenging times.
The pandemic brought lasting changes— for many remote working, long Covid, or the loss of loved ones, to name just a few. Many, especially frontline workers, are still coping with trauma from those times.
On top of this, many face financial stress, long healthcare waits, daily news of wars and political tensions, and climate change fears.
It’s a lot to manage.

In recent years, there's been a lot of attention given to what is referred to as 'Mindfulness'.
Many apps offer guided meditations on breathing or nature sounds, and yoga's Shavasana is often called 'mindfulness.' Whilst relaxing, these practices don’t often go much deeper.
Mindfulness-based courses like MBSR and MBCT offer more. Over eight weeks, you'll learn tools to help you break free from overthinking, past regrets, and future anxieties. This can be life-changing — I speak from experience.
There's a saying: "Thoughts are not facts—even though they tell us they are!"
For those with chronic pain or illness, mindfulness can help by increasing awareness of habits that may worsen their condition.
Mindfulness doesn't just help us deal with difficulties. It helps us appreciate the good things in life more fully, bringing us balance and clarity.
